Sundown Farm

Sundown Farm is located on 173 acres in Axton, VA. Axton is a town between Martinsville and Danville, VA. We have lived here for about 2 years, and moved here from the Charlottesville, VA area. We have a good size cinder block barn, and a new barn as the stallion barn. We have a large outdoor riding ring, with 6+ jumps. We have many trails, and they go around the entire property.

We are mostly hunter/jumper, but also train our horses basic dressage (a key to a great horse). We own many different breeds of horses, and stand two thoroughbred stallions. We offer breeding, training, lessons, boarding, and horse shows.

Sundown Farm is looking forward to our future expansions:

• Dressage arena
• More cross fencing
• Large show arena (350' X 250')
• Stallion stalls on main barn (16' X 12')
• Stallion barn to be turned into boarding facility
• Building on to main barn (more 12' X 12' stalls)

We are already in the process of adding a lot of cross fencing, as we have so many mares in for breeding board.

Our goal as equine enthusiasts is to better the breed with every foal that we help touch the ground, and work with people to understand the affects we have on future equine!

We work through communication, not manipulation, with every animal that we come into contact with!
