CG Cantata was foaled at Cedar Grove Farm in April of 2001. Her sire is the Hanoverian stallion Contucci, owned by Hilltop Farm. Cantata's dam is Chessie, an ISR approved TB/Belgium cross mare.
Cantata was a premium foal and won site champion at her ISR/Oldenburg NA inspection with a score of 8.4. From then, she has been shown lightly in hand with (but not limited to) a 2nd place at the PVDA sporthorse breeders show and a 1st place in the ISR/Oldenburg class at Morven Park against stiff competition. Cantata received an unbelievable 106 at her mare inspection.
Cantata has proven herself as a broodmare with the birth of her first foal, Sempertucci, who has followed in her mother's shadow by receiving a premium score of 8.2.
Cantata arrived here at Sundown Farm on the 4th of January- 2008. She is a fantastic mover and has great conformation! Her trainability is amazing- She is just now (as a coming 7 year old) starting training.
