Sired by Grande Saber (by Grundstein) and out of Parisienne (by Pilot -sired by Pilatus) who was the sire of Roemer. His pedigree also includes Grande, Graphit, and Gottard. Levi is a full 17.1+ and his offspring have all been big, level headed foals and horses with excellent scopey movement.
This pedigree speaks novels for Levi, and his movement/temperment/and conformation back it all up!
Grande Leviticus has superb movement, and is versatile enough to be able to show in dressage, hunters or jumpers, and will even hopefully dabble a bit in the eventing world this year as well. This guy has a desire to work, and loves his job. He is very scopey over fences, and uses both his front and his rear end very well. The best horses over fences must have great rear ends, and Levi definitely has that.
Levi has produced a very good number of foals to date, and he has stamped his quality on every one of them. They are very easy to work with, especially easy to break and train. They are quality enough movement and conformation wise for the professionals, but have the "easy to handle" temperment for the amatures! If your looking for a foal that will possess brains and beauty this is the stallion for you!
Chrissie Kears had been showing Levi in Level 3 and 4 jumpers a couple years ago, and Levi just did great. The photo that you see below, is Levi and Chrissie in 2006, they were a special team, and really did a wonderful job together. In 2008/2009 Levi will be competing throughout Virginia and North Carolina. We will be presenting Levi this year to American Warmblood Registry in November '08. Through the long lines of approved stallions in Levi's blood, we really wish that he were younger and could be presented to Oldenburg this year, but we will try to get him approved Old/RPSI in '09 through his performance requirements.
